Welcome to Goldensandvoyages. Before proceeding with any bookings, we kindly ask you to carefully review these Terms and Conditions, as they outline your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from making a booking with us.

For your convenience, we have highlighted key sections regarding your rights and our liability, including:

About Us
Goldensandvoyages is a trading name of Goldensandvoyages Limited, registered in the UK under company number 12345687. Our registered office is located at 159 Blackthorn Rd, Oxfordshire, OX116EP. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Goldensandvoyages Limited, while “you” and “your” refer to the customer and any other individuals included in the booking.

Our Role
We provide a platform, both online and via telephone, for users to search, compare, and book travel services such as flights, hotels, and transfers (“Travel Services”). We act as an intermediary between you and the service providers (“Service Providers”) who deliver these services. Our responsibility is to facilitate the booking process and secure your agreement with the Service Providers, who ultimately provide the Travel Services.

In certain cases, such as flight bookings, we may act as your agent when searching and securing flights (refer to Section 5 for flight-specific details).

Booking Terms
Your booking through Goldensandvoyages is subject to the following:

  1. These Terms and Conditions.

  2. The Service Provider’s terms and conditions.

  3. Additional terms for sub-agents or third parties, where applicable.

  4. Service Provider’s website terms of use, if bookings are made directly through their website.

By making a booking, you accept and agree to all applicable terms and conditions outlined above.

Package Holidays
Certain bookings may qualify as “Packages” under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. A Package typically includes two or more Travel Services (e.g., accommodation, transport, or motor vehicle hire) lasting over 24 hours or including overnight accommodation.

We operate “Multi-Contract Packages,” where you enter into separate contracts with each Service Provider, facilitated by us. ATOL Certificates issued for such Packages provide full financial protection (see Section 22).

Booking and Payment Terms

  1. By making a booking, you confirm:

    • All passenger details are accurate.

    • You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

    • You are 18 years of age or older.

  2. Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a Booking Confirmation email containing valid reference numbers.

  3. Payments must be made as specified at the time of booking. Failure to make payments may result in cancellations (see Section 9).

  4. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express without additional card fees. Note that foreign transaction fees may apply.

COVID-19 Travel Advisory
You must arrange adequate travel insurance covering COVID-19 risks. Health measures, including temperature checks and mask mandates, may be required by Service Providers. Failure to comply with health protocols could result in denied access to services or locations. Refunds or compensations will not be issued in such cases (see Section 1A).

Amendments and Cancellations

  • Amendments (Section 8): Changes to bookings may incur fees and must be requested no later than 5 days before departure. Amendments are subject to Service Provider approval.

  • Cancellations (Section 9): Cancellations incur fees starting at £25 per hotel-only booking and £75 per Package booking, plus Service Provider charges. Refunds are subject to Service Provider policies.

Changes to Travel Services
Minor changes (e.g., flight time adjustments under 12 hours) will be communicated as early as possible. Significant changes (e.g., accommodation downgrades) allow you to cancel with a full refund or accept alternative arrangements (see Section 10).

Our Responsibility
For non-package bookings, we are not responsible for Travel Service performance but only for facilitating the booking. For Package bookings, we assume liability for the overall performance of Travel Services as required by law (see Section 12).

Pricing and Errors
We strive for accuracy, but errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to adjust prices prior to confirmation. Changes after confirmation will follow the conditions outlined in Section 2.

Travel Insurance
It is your responsibility to secure travel insurance covering health incidents, cancellations, and other risks. Insurance purchased through our platform does not form part of a Package booking.

Additional Information

  • Taxes/Local Charges: You are responsible for paying any additional local fees, taxes, or charges imposed by authorities or Service Providers (see Section 18).

  • Accommodation Ratings: Star ratings are guidelines and may vary by country (see Section 19).

  • Accessibility: Notify us of any special requirements before booking (see Section 20A).

  • Dispute Resolution: We aim to resolve disputes promptly, but unresolved cases may be referred to independent arbitration (see Section 16).

Insolvency Protection
All ATOL-protected bookings are financially covered. In the event of insolvency, refunds or alternative services will be arranged under ATOL protection (see Section 22).
